Local Shopping

With Christmas not far away most of us are pulling out and dusting off our decorations. If you're like me every year I add to my collection, and my children each receive a yearly ornament that they place on our tree on Christmas Eve night. This year I'm making big changes to my color theme, from lime green and gold to white and blue, so now I'm on the hunt. I was given a tip by a friend to stop in and check out Metcalf Sisters Antiques and Collectibles. This didn't seem like a bad idea, I do have a love affair for anything vintage!
When I parked on Main street I saw the large picture windows decorated,  garland hung with lights, and a very jolly Santa stood spreading his cheer. As I made my way in to Metcalf Sisters' Antiques and Collectibles, I was amazed by the verity of items on display. There were cases of jewelry, paintings and prints, Fiesta wear of every color and  shape!

I had to stay focused or I was going to have my hands full of new treasure and a lot of explaining to do. I made a comment to the owner Lois Metcalf how neat her store is, she went on to tell me about there Christmas sales of 10-50% off with new items coming in daily. Lois encouraged me to explore the store. I found Christmas trees, decorations of every color (new and vintage), wreaths and even large yard decorations!

So I'm passing on a GREAT tip stop in to Metcalf Sisters' Antiques and collectibles and check out there holiday decorations for sale.
